Based on the hit TV show, Brainiac Live! is the show that laughs in the face of science! Strap on your safety goggles boys and girls. Science’s greatest and most volatile show is arriving at QPAC with a vengeance. Coming to Brisbane for the very first time Brainiac Live! will take you on a breathless ride through the wild world of the weird and wonderful. Expect exploding dustbins, combusting microwaves and loads of live daredevil stunts! With a great range of experiments and demonstrations this messy, loud, all action live show is set to blow your minds. Watch as the Brainiacs delve fearlessly into the mysteries of science and do all of those things on stage that you’re too scared to do at home!

BRISBANE CHRISTMAS PARADE

Brisbane’s favourite family tradition, the Christmas Parade, returns this week. Brimming with music and merriment, the Parade comes complete with a nativity scene, Santa and dozens of performers to entertain and delight all ages. At the conclusion of the Parade, Santa will return to his throne at David Jones Queens Plaza.

KITE WISHES PROJECT

Your kids will enjoy designing their own kite or be inspired by the koinobori fish template created by Brisbane artist Elysha Rei. They are then invited to return to the museum on Saturday February 24 and send their wishes flying high as part of a kite procession from King George Square to Kisaragi-Sai Festival at the Roma Street Parklands.
