MATHAMAZING
Now thru to Sunday September 3 // Sciencentre, Level 1, Cnr Grey & Melbourne St’s, South Bank

Families can count on a fun day out with the opening of the new Mathamazing exhibition at Queensland Museum’s Sciencentre. Playfully connecting maths to everyday life, the 22 interactive activities — designed to inspire mathematical curiosity and confidence — add up to a whole lot of fun. Visitors will be able to challenge their lateral thinking and topology as they untangle themselves from handcuffs in the Manacle, solve giant floor puzzles, work their way through mazes, test their reaction time, work out the mass of an unknown object, build an arch that won’t collapse, and explore fractals on a touchscreen.
