Saturday May 12 from 4pm – 8.30pm // The Amphitheatre, Roma Street Parkland, 1 Parkland Blvd, Brisbane City

Arrive early with the whole family to craft a perfect gift, take a sunset stroll in the gardens or gather snacks for dinner from the food trucks onsite. Activities include the food trucks, live music, a free children’s craft activity where kids can make special flower posies and pressed flower cards. Then at 6pm, Beauty and the Beast (2017) will screen in the Amphitheatre.

Little artists will adventure through an interactive black and white drawing of the Australian Bush. Along the way they meet the very special animals who live there and explore drawing with them. Show activities begin on Thursday night before the show when the Art, Childrens’ Art and Craft, Photography, Sculpture and Woodwork competitions reveal their winners. All Pavilions open at each day 9:00am, with Equestrian Events for the local District Day on Friday filling the Main Ring with a blaze of expertise and colour. The action after school Friday afternoon continues with the Rodeo, sideshow entertainment and so much more!
