You can enter the Santa Paws Raffle which will be run on the day, all ticket sales will be going towards RSPCA Qld animals in care. Saturday November 18 thru to Sunday December 24 // Hyperdome Shopping Centre, 3828 Pacific Hwy, Shailer Park

Visit the Hyperdome to see Santa’s Kingdom where you can say hello to the man in red and get your photo taken, write a letter to Santa and post it (don’t forget to add your address so you get a reply), visit Mrs Claus in her bakery and learn how to decorate gingerbread people and watch a Christmas movie on the big screen cinema.

At the RAAF Amberley Aviation Heritage Centre you’ll get a chance to check out the amazing display including a World War II Boston Bomber, Caribou airlifter, Sabre and Mirage Fighter jets, F11’s, Iroquois helicopters and even an immaculate WWII Jeep.

What sort of world will young people inherit? Besieged by mountains of rubbish, 12 extraordinary young performers recycle and reuse discarded items, reimagining circus and what our future could be. Wasteland is about potential, hope, resilience and survival – replacing recognisable circus apparatus with repurposed materials and scrap. Developed by Flipside’s performance troupe, renowned circus artist Chelsea McGuffin and dramaturge Robert Kronk, Wasteland combines amazing aerials with frenetic ground and tumbling routines.

The world’s favourite musical is returning to Australia and making it’s debut in Brisbane before it heads off around Australia. This show is the London Palladium production of The Wizard of Oz and is an enchanting revision of the all-time classic. This production stays true to the original screenplay featuring all the favourite characters from the movie including Dorothy, Toto, Tin Man, The Lion, Scarecrow, Glinda and of course the Wicked Witch of the West.

Enjoy mind melting illusions, sensory sensations, playing with perception, and discovering the world inside your head. This hands on exhibition will challenge your sensory signals and explore how your brain perceives the things and people around you. Discover how people may perceive the same thing in a different way and that reality is not what it seems.Your kids will get a chance to test their balance while wearing special glasses, confuse their mind with phantom  hand illusions, look to infinity through a deep tunnel, pick up a robot floating in the air and much more!

The exhibition features more than 110 original artefacts including pieces of the Colosseum, authentic elaborately decorated bronze gladiator helmets and original arms and armour preserved in the ashes of Pompeii. Take the journey back in time to be a part of history and go behind the scenes to learn the story of these armed athletes who fought to entertain and inspire the people of Ancient Rome.
