Silent Sounds ‘Quiet Riot’ disco truck is returning to Dreamworld for the ultimate dance off. You and your family are invited to join in at the Surfers Paradise SLSC for the first nipper sign on of the season! Nippers is about learning, confidence and having fun in a safe beach environment. For Nippers, the beach is the classroom. They gain confidence by passing the tests of swimming, body boarding, beach sprints, dolphin-diving, spotting a rip, having fun with new friends and discovering things about themselves. Nippers is open to children from the age 5 up to 13 years. There’s free parking in the secure car park under the centre.

Be a Hospital Hero at Currumbin Wildlife Hospital’s Annual Open Day. Every ticket sold will mean another Eucalypt tree in their plantations to feed the hospitalised koalas. Go behind the scenes and see the vets and nurses in action as they care for just some of the 10,000 animals that are admitted to the hospital each year. After you have watched the live animal diagnostics and demonstrations enjoy the fun activities and games as you listen to live music and be entertained with a special show by Borobi and other performances!
