Sanctuary Cove is hosting the Coast’s most exciting Easter event on Easter Sunday, which promises to be a family-friendly day of fun activities. The picturesque Marine Village will transform into a colourful Easter wonderland with kid-friendly entertainment including giant inflatables, bungee trampolines, as well as pony rides, a baby animal farm, craft activities, face painting and even a special visit from the star of the show himself, the Easter Bunny.

Friday March 30 thru to Monday April 2 // Southport Sharks, Cnr Olsen & Musgrave Ave’s, Southport

Hop into Sharks this Easter for a wide range of free family entertainment! Bring the children down to the club on Easter Sunday for face painting and a special Kids Show with a special guest appearance by the Easter Bunny and Mr Sharky. Sunday April 1 thru to Sunday April 29 // Club Banora, Leisure Dr, Banora Point

April will be the biggest month in Club Banora’s history, with an unprecedented 29 days straight of games, activities and fun for kids, more live music and shows, and non-stop entertainment for every member of the family. The program kicks off on Sunday 1 April from with a special Easter Kids Day, Easter Egg hunt, a visit from the Easter bunny, games and activities for children of all ages. The fun continues right through to Sunday 29 April, taking in Queensland school holidays (30 March to 16 April) and New South Wales holidays (13-29 April).

Byron Bay Bluesfest is Australia’s Premier Contemporary Blues & Roots Music Festival. It showcases music from around the world. This year will see over 200 performances from artists including Lauryn Hill, John Butler Trio and The Wailers as well as camping for up to 6,000 people, 5 licensed bars, over 100 food and market stalls, undercover food courts, beer gardens, and children’s entertainment.

Join in this celebration of local art and community. Robina Town Centre will be serving up an epic two-week visual arts spectacle showcasing the movers and shakers of the Gold Coast’s street art scene alongside some internationally renowned guest Sofles. The Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games (GC2018) will welcome more than 6,600 athletes and team officials from 71 Commonwealth nations and territories to the Gold Coast and event cities Brisbane, Cairns and Townsville, to share in the celebration of sport, entertainment and culture. The largest sporting event to be staged in Australia this decade, GC2018 will feature the largest integrated sports program in Commonwealth Games history, comprising 18 sports and seven para-sports.
