Top 10 Toys

You can never go wrong buying toys for a kid at Christmas. But the options are almost endless, right? Shelley from Limetree Kids is here to help.

Limetree Kids is heaven for kids and a haven for parents who need to tick loads of gift-buying boxes for their little ones all in the one location. Owner/operator Shelley Mason is a pro when it comes to knowing just what’s hot in the world of toys. As a mum of two as well, Shelley’s got her finger firmly on the pulse of international toy trends. Here are Shelley’s Top 3 Christmas gift ideas:

1. Kinderfeet Kinderboard
“Holy guacamole! This is by far the most popular toy of this year,” Shelley says. “I love this Danish-designed toy because, well, it’s not even really a toy as such – it’s an open-ended item that allows kids with sensory, attention or vestibular issues (like my cherubs) or any ‘typical’ kids to enjoy rocking, rolling, climbing, playing and even laying on this board.”

2. Sunnylife Unicorn Hopper
“As soon as I saw this toy when ordering stock back in April – I KNEW this would be a winner winner, chicken dinner!” Shelley says. “I mean, there’s not much to NOT love – it’s a unicorn. It bounces. It’s a unicorn – and it BOUNCES! Super fun!”

3. Hape all-in-one kitchen
“I love its unisex colours and that it fits a few children around it. There is room for two to create a full buffet in their oven including a controllable rangehood fitted with a working light, a microwave with a real ‘ding’, and of course a dishwasher for the cleaning up,” she says.
