SUMMERTIME SESSIONS IN THE VILLAGE

Catch one of the last Summertime Sessions of the year! LIGHTING OF THE CHRISTMAS TREE
Friday November 30, from 6.30pm // King George Square, Brisbane City

The Christmas magic officially starts once the Brisbane City Christmas Tree lights up King George Square. There will be plenty of festive celebrations, including a fun-filled, sunset concert in front of City Hall to get spectators in the mood before the switch is flipped on the 22m tall tree, which will be decorated with thousands of glittering fairy lights, and a huge colourful star, all powered by a solar-charged battery.

MAYOR’S CHRISTMAS CAROLS

The seventh annual Mayor’s Christmas Carols will dazzle when it returns to the Broadwater Parklands this weekend. Don’t miss headlining singing superstars Kate Ceberano and Anthony Callea, when they perform alongside an impressive cast of talent. The Gold Coast’s literal Home of the Arts is kicking off summer with an outdoor concert celebration like no other.
