Disney 100: The Concert

Fresh off a sold-out season at the Sydney Opera House, ‘Disney 100: The Concert’ is set to soar into the Gold Coast from March 31 to April 1 – for two performances only. Described as “gleefully over the top” (AFR), this is the perfect school holiday treat. It features enchanting animation, dazzling fireworks and heart-warming songs performed live on stage by the Queensland Pops Orchestra and a cast of star singers. Pop Masters (kids go free!)

As of Monday March 27 – and for one week only – kids can attend the world exclusive exhibition ‘Pop Masters: Art from the Mugrabi Collection, New York’ totally free. Former Wiggle Emma Memma revealed the exciting announcement during her live show at HOTA on March 17. “Giving every child a cultural education is an important value for HOTA and this is a once-in-a generation opportunity to see these names on the Gold Coast,” said Mik Auckland, HOTA’s Interim CEO.

Scenic Rim Farm Gate Trail

On April 2, the first Scenic Rim Farm Gate Trail of 2023 will see farmers, growers, producers, winemakers, brewers, distillers and flavour-makers across the region open their gates for a day celebrating where food comes from. From cuddling with lambs to eating fresh produce straight from the paddocks of local farms, not to mention ice cream tastings and picnic selfies with alpacas, you won’t want to miss this.

It’s Not Rocket Science

In a Queensland celestial first, Robina Town Centre is preparing to welcome a fleet of out-of-this-world inflatable visitors in an activation titled ‘It’s Not Rocket Science’. They’ll teleport into the stratosphere on March 23 on a quest to educate, entertain and inspire junior earthlings, departing on April 16. Using space-breaking interactive technology, the eleven art-like, inflatable space-beings will enthrall earthlings using motion sensors, light optics and sound – don’t miss it.

Easter fun at The Oasis

Hop into The Oasis, Broadbeach, this Easter for your celebrations. It all starts with a special meet and greet with an adorable Easter bunny – grab a photo with it and, if you’re lucky, you might receive some eggs or giveaways. There will also be ‘design your own chocolate Easter cake’ and ‘Easter cupcake decorating’ at Madison’s Cafe and Easter specials at Bakers’ Delight and Elk Espresso.

Skate Disco

On April 15, an epic all-ages Skate Disco hosted by Rolla Bae is coming to Distillery Road Market (DRM). Promising a fun-filled evening of skate demos, live entertainment, artisan market stalls, food trucks and more, DRM’s Skate Disco is a unique opportunity for families, friends and skaters to show off their moves. Skaters of all levels can get ready to roll at the pop-up rink, either BYO skates or rent them onsite for just $10. Skate sessions run for an hour long, with rink entry only $10 (ages 5+).

Supanova is rolling into the Gold Coast Convention & Exhibition Centre just in time for the school holidays.
