  9. No access to tennis courts? Make your own with chalk on the driveway – you can even play hopscotch, handball and Twister, too.
  10. While you’re at it, why not make your own putt putt course? You don’t even need a backyard – simply set up cups and obstacles around the house.
  11. Looking for more of a thrill? Topgolf offers tonnes of fun for kids and kids-at-heart!
  12. Bring back the 70s vibes and make some macrame.
  13. Soak up the sunshine with a winter bike ride! You won’t get all hot and sweaty when you’re cruising these beachside bike paths like you would in summer.
  14. Get cultured at the Gold Coast’s Home of the Arts – they’ve got in-person movies and online activities galore, plus their all new Children’s Gallery to inspire the kids.
  15. Brisbanites, you don’t need to miss out on the fun – the Queensland Art Gallery is open, too!
  16. Catch a game of footy! The AFL season is in full swing, and both the Brisbane Lions and the Gold Coast Suns promise a great night out.
  17. And, if you miss out on tickets to a live game, throw a watch party at home!
  18. Host a backyard games day – from Giant Jenga to Finska, there are loads of fun backyard games on the market.
  19. Alternatively, why not host a good old fashioned games night? Invite a few families and set up separate competitions for the kids and the adults.
