If we don’t have our health then we don’t have anything. To be fit and healthy is key to good quality living and if we don’t have this we really don’t have much.

“Looking after my health today gives me a better hope for tomorrow.”

– Anne Wilson Schaef

Our physical health is key to strength, stamina and longevity, it’s also essential for a happy life right now. When we are in physical pain, drained of energy or feeling empty, it depletes our energy, lowers our vibration and breaks down our positive mindset. This is the opposite to where we want to be if we wish to have a Healthy, Wealthy and Wise lifestyle regarding our wellbeing.

To be stressed, overtired, fatigued, or plain old under the weather might be the reality of right now, however does it need to be like this as we move towards the later part of the year? This of course is a choice we choose to make in the moment and it’s important to know – ‘it is our choice’.

Unfortunately words like stress, busy, chronic fatigue, being run down, tiredness, adrenaline burnout, flat, wasted, depressed and low are all too common in our day to day language. The most important thing to be aware of is the impact our language has on what we create into our life. Ask and you shall receive is generally how things happen. Often we will ask for to have something in our life and from nowhere it appears. Great we think and often people will say, thank you universe! What we focus on we attract, therefore focusing on negative words and negative thinking, is exactly what we will receive. Think positive thoughts, receive positive into our life.

“The Dalai Lama, when asked what surprised him most about humanity, answered “Man. Because he sacrifices his health in order to make money. Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health. And then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present; the result being that he does not live in the present or the future; he lives as if he is never going to die, and then dies having never really lived.”

The Choice is ours and ours alone. What is it we choose to do?

Tips for being Healthier/Wealthier & Wiser with our Health…

  • Notice when we are being negative – STOP – acknowledge and change it around in the MOMENT.
  • Decide what we truly want to have – and put a plan in place to get it.
  • Take time out and be with self for a period of time (any time is a good amount of time).
  • Pretend we are the catcher of a very important game (our game of Life), get the catchers mitt ready for any ‘energy sending us off balance’. Chuck it back if we don’t like what we are receiving (imagine throwing it as far as we possibly can, going, going, going – GONE out of the field). Or simply turn it around with a positive spin.
  • Talk to someone about the negative thoughts and feelings, a doctor, a coach – the negativity, anxiety or fearful thoughts are far better out, than trapped inside.
  • Practice often -simply ‘Letting It Go’. It is freeing, liberating and refreshing.
