JIMU TankBot Kit
With STEM and coding now mainstream school studies for our digital native kids, toys are becoming more and more high tech and, well, just plain rad. JIMU TankBot is a great example. A buildable, codable, interactive robot, Tankbot arrives in his box in separate pieces that your kids have to construct from scratch. It’s Lego on steroids! Once they’ve assembled their robot, download the free JIMU robot app (Apple iOS or android) and your kids can learn to code TankBot to perform fun movements, pick up and put down items with his grab-and-lift ‘hands’ and wander around on his excavator-like heavy duty treads (he can even wander around outside on the grass). Suggested for kids aged ages 8+, it’s an easy platform to master and one that the ‘big’ kids will LOVE just as much as the smaller ones do.
