Excited visitors won’t be the only ones descending on O’Reilly’s Rainforest Retreat over the next few weeks – magical migratory birds will be seen in World Heritage-listed Lamington National Park before they depart for wintering grounds further afield.
Flock to O’Reilly’s for Autumn Bird Week – starting this Sunday, March 10 and running until Friday, March 15 – and venture into Lamington National Park in search of stunning bird species.
Offering a taste of the larger, internationally-renowned O’Reilly’s Bird Week that’s on each November, the Autumn Bird Week offers a relaxing experience for experienced bird-watchers and novices alike to spot the unique birds in the region in small groups.
Make the most of the cooler weather and spend your days in the national park, joining in on guided tours and listening to presentations by local experts and O’Reilly’s guides. Bird spotters will be able to discover a range of different habitats, from dry rainforests to lagoons, all while taking in the magnificent scenery of Lamington National Park.
