As parents, we’ve got enough on our plate without having to worry about buying products that don’t actually work. We want products designed with function and effectiveness in mind – products that don’t just get the job done, but have active ingredients that naturally nurture even the most delicate skin.
Beloved Aussie-made supermarket brand and social enterprise, Thankyou, recently unveiled a fresh new look for their premium baby care range – which is doing good for more than just our babies bums.
Made with ingredients derived from nature – like aloe vera, chamomile, lavender oil and avocado oil – the range features thick wipes, bath wash and their twice-award-winning baby shampoo, among other baby essentials. Other ingredients like shea and mango butters and goat’s milk make it super soft on delicate baby skin.
It’s all been developed by experts and tested by parents and includes absolutely no nasties.
Alongside the launch of their revamped baby care line, Thankyou have also created a series of funny, real parenting insights with the tagline ‘it’s all good, baby’, on a website that is dedicated to infrequently asked parenting questions.
But beyond helping parents feel a little less alone, Thankyou’s baby care range is helping to reduce some seriously confronting statistics. Did you know that, every 103 seconds, a mother dies in pregnancy and childbirth? Or that globally 2.6 million babies don’t reach their first month of life because they don’t have access to basic healthcare?
In true Thankyou style, every baby care product helps fund safe births and healthcare for mums and bubs in need. To date, the range has helped over 183,000 mothers and babies in Nepal and Zimbabwe.
Since husband-and-wife duo Daniel and Justine Flynn launched Thankyou in 2008 – back when they were ‘simply’ a bottled water brand tackling the world water crisis – they have continued to commit 100% of profits to help end global poverty.
“Impact drives the team at Thankyou,” says Daniel. “We want people to know when they choose Thankyou for their little ones, it helps give other parents access to some of the things we’re blessed with, like a safe place to give birth with doctors, equipment, clean water and pre and post-natal healthcare.”
Because parents have made the decision to use Thankyou on their bub, together, they’ve helped get child and maternal health services to over 183,000 mum and bubs in need.
Thankyou’s new look Baby Care range is available nationally at Woolworths, Priceline and Baby Bunting as well as online at www.thankyou.co.
