Friday June 17 & Saturday June 18 // Spaghetti Circus, Mullumbimby Showground, Main Arm Rd, Mullumbimby

Spaghetti Circus presents ‘The Momeraths’ for its annual show. Based on Lewis Carroll’s ‘The Jabberwocky’, it is the second instalment of a work that premiered at the Mullum Circus Festival in 2015. ‘The Momeraths’ explores the poem as a journey of two heroes as they venture deep into the woods on a quest to meet and confront a beast about which they have been warned. Using circus skills, creativity and shadow play, Spaghetti Circus’ young artists have re-imagined the poem and its nonsense words into an intriguing world of strange, beautiful and sometimes dangerous halfling creatures, who present alluring distractions, obstructions and delays. All is not as it seems and the heroes must navigate their way through a world of beauty and danger…
