The trees are up and the shopping hours are being extended – the holidays are here, which can only mean one thing. The Broadbeach Christmas Carols are almost here, too!

Broadbeach Christmas Carols, presented by Pacific Fair, will take over beachfront Kurrawa Park on Saturday December 14, delivering plenty of fun and festivity for the whole family.

Featuring the amazing Rachael Beck and Martin Crewes, our city’s best choirs and youth orchestra, a Little Paccas entertainment area for the kids and a special appearance from the big man in red, you’re in for a real treat come 3pm.

But the Broadbeach Alliance would also like to remind us of the real meaning behind this period – love, kindness, giving and togetherness – so they’re putting their money where their mouth is with a campaign to give back.

Working with 1029 Hot Tomato and Pacific Fair in the lead-up to the Christmas Carols, the Broadbeach Alliance is ensuring everyone remembers what’s really important during the holidays. For the next five mornings on 1029 Hot Tomato, local families doing it tough will have a chance to win a $250 Pacific Fair shopping voucher to give them a helping hand over Christmas.

“The purpose of the Broadbeach Christmas Carols is to bring our local community together for a night of traditional fun and joy,”  says Broadbeach Alliance Acting CEO Mark Duckworth. “We know that 2019 has been tough in many ways for so many people. We want to acknowledge this too and add a tangible benefit along with the emotive joy that the carols will give.”

In addition to the Pacific Fair and Hot Tomato giveaway, The Salvos will be on-site throughout the afternoon and evening selling their Christmas candles and collecting donations to ensure that the love and joy is spread even further for Gold Coast families.

Broadbeach Christmas Carols have also aligned with the City of Gold Coast and made the decision to remove the fireworks from the Christmas Carol program this year.

Keep your eyes out for our friends at 1029 Hot Tomato and offers from new partners Deliveroo as they add to the afternoon festivities, and be sure to use the hashtag #broadbeachcarols when you share the fun on social media. Pacific Fair is also providing free parking from 3pm.
