The Broadbeach Jazz Weekend presented by The Oasis is coming, August 20-21, 2016 and it’s all completely FREE!
The weekend features incredible entertainment including, Bustamento, Monica Trapaga, Hanlon Brothers, Hot Potato Band, Caxton Street Jazz Band, Dezzie D and The Stingrayz along with an array of roving entertainment, markets and activities for people of all ages throughout Broadbeach.
Along with top notch music performances the weekend brings along an eclectic vibe with an abundance of street entertainment that is sure to grab your attention from stilt walking, juggling, acrobatics, mime and roving musicians. On the Sunday this all blends with the famous Art and Craft markets in Kurrawa Park.
Surf Parade will be infused with weekend long roving performances featuring the Jazz and Funk style DJ, Don Bronson, mixing tunes and generating a cool vibe.
The Broadbeach Mall Stage comes alive all weekend with a premier line-up of entertainment commencing early morning and going into the evening, with something for everyone, whether a Trad Jazz, Calypso Roots, New Orleans Swamp Boogie, Funk Swing, or Salsa fan.
This year you can also boogie into Oracle Boulevard with plenty of live music over the two days featuring Maggie Britton, Andrew Baxter, The Furbelows and more.
