Buskers by the Creek returns for its sixth year, bringing some of Australia – and the world’s – weirdest and wackiest performers creekside for a free, family-friendly festival of fun.

From Friday October 18 thru to Saturday October 20, musicians, mimes, acrobats, and performers from all walks of life will join spirited crowds on the grassy expanses of the picturesque Winders Park for the award-winning community and cultural event.

A host of well-known food trucks will be dishing up festival fare, while the teams from Stone and Wood and Chandon S will serve up a variety of beverages in a dedicated bar area – complete with its own stage.

With such variety and diversity on offer, there will be something for everyone. The smallest festival-goers will love the Karma Kids Zone, where circus acts and loads of activities – including creative craft workshops where children can make their own dreamcatchers, mandala weaving and more – will keep them entertained.

The celebrated festival, which has earned a reputation as a world-leading busking event since launching in 2014, will attract more than 300 local, national and international acts and 20,000-plus people across its three days.

A stalwart on the Gold Coast’s cultural calendar, Buskers at the Creek is not to be missed.
