Calling all of the nature lovers – this one’s for you! The Naturally Gold Coast Festival is coming to the Robina Community Centre Auditorium this Sunday the 24th of November from 10am – 1pm and is a family-friendly, free event where you can learn about the local native flora, stock up on native plants for your garden and get the insider-tips from garden experts.
The animal lovers will have the chance to get close and personal to native Australian wildlife, such as lizards, snakes and birds. They can also learn how to rescue animals with the pop-up wildlife hospital and decorate pouches for injured wildlife.
The NaturallyGC program will provide information on where you can find the best bush walks, picnic locations, mountain biking spots and how to capture the beauty of nature through photography.
Children are invited to bring their old teddy bears along and donate them to the teddy bear drive that will be running at the event. The teddy’s will go to orphaned and sick joeys to cuddle so they feel safe and warm whilst recovering.
