Don’t get caught out by this year’s Easter Hat Parade! We’ve rounded up three of our favourite bonnet ideas, no matter how busy you are…

Bunny ears crown

What’s fluffy, pink and white and will take you less than 30 minutes to make? This adorable bunny ear crown, courtesy of Kidspot! We dove deep into the haven archives to find this one, but the fact that it’s just as cute nine years after we first published it proves it’s truly timeless. All you’ll need is some pink or white cardboard, a cardboard box, some pom poms and basic craft supplies.

Garden bonnet

If you’re looking for craft guidance, there’s no better place than Spotlight. They’re truly the experts. Just take their guide to decorating two different kinds of Easter bonnets! We personally love the Garden Bonnet, but the Egg Bonnet is also seriously cute. The best part is that you can order the supplies online, straight from their website post – no need to hit the shops before you get crafting!

Rabbit in a hat Easter bonnet

This one gets points for being equal parts hilarious and oh-so-easy! We love that this ‘rabbit in a hat’ Easter bonnet is a nod to Easter traditions, while also being unique and funny enough for your child to stand out from the crowd. All you’ll need is a bit of card, some felt, glue, stapler, scissors and googly eyes, and to set aside about thirty minutes to get creating.
