Sanctuary Cove is hosting the Coast’s most exciting Easter event on Easter Sunday!
It’s almost Easter and Sanctuary Cove has announced it’s hosting its annual Easter Eggstravaganza again, which promises to be a family friendly day of fun activities!
The Marine Village will host the popular Easter event on Sunday April 1 from 10am to 3pm inviting Gold Coasters and visitors to the precinct to enjoy a happy, hoppy day out with a bounty of activities catering for all ages.
The picturesque Marine Village will transform into a colourful Easter wonderland with kid-friendly entertainment including giant inflatables, bungy trampolines, as well as pony rides, a baby animal farm, craft activities, face painting and even a special visit from the star of the show himself, the Easter Bunny.
Mulpha Sanctuary Cove head of marketing and events Johan Hasser says the Easter Eggstravaganza event has become a holiday tradition for many Gold Coast families who love to enjoy the family orientated and free, fun day out.
“The Easter Eggstravaganza provides the perfect occasion for locals and visitors to enjoy what is on offer at The Marine Village,” Johan says. “It’s a great opportunity for the whole family to come together and explore The Marine Village during the Easter holidays, while also enjoying a range of family-friendly dining and shopping options.”
Kids will have a choc-o-block day of Easter excitement as they are invited to explore The Marine Village precinct on an Easter egg hunt with a difference. Instead of searching the grounds for treats, children will have fun finding the hidden codewords which can then be redeemed for delicious chocolate eggs.
Little egg hunters can burn off their extra energy with a train ride around The Marine Village or cruise the surrounding tranquil waters on board the MV Kilkie ferry, while fun-loving roving entertainers will keep crowds amused throughout the day with their marvellous performances.
All of the information and a full timetable of the day is available online.
