Exciting news for southern Gold Coast residents – popular childcare provider, Edge Early Learning, is coming to Bilinga!
With a collection of childcare centres spread across the south east – and two already on the Gold Coast – Edge Early Learning’s new centre will provide locals in the south-eastern corner of the state with better access to childcare.
Scheduled for completion in late 2019, Edge Early Learning Bilinga will join the Pimpama and North Pimpama locations already accommodating families on the northern end of the Gold Coast.
Located at Airport Central, Edge Early Learning’s new Bilinga location will offer a sun smart indoor-outdoor centre to the highly populated area, surrounded by shops, a petrol station, cafes, tech companies, Southern Cross University, and of course, Gold Coast Airport.
Edge Early Learning Chief Executive Officer Annie Bryce says this new centre is perfect for families who work near and within that precinct, as well as the high proportion of mature aged students attending the university.
“Bilinga presented a large gap in the market for childcare, especially for those parents attending University who lack access to childcare options that fit within their schedules,” says Annie. “The Bilinga centre will operate for extended hours to cater for parents with full-time jobs and university commitments.”
Edge Early Learning Bilinga are currently accepting expressions of interest until the centre is open for enrolments early next year.
“We have begun taking expressions of interest and the response confirms there is a high demand for childcare on the southern end,” says Annie.
The new centre will cover 1,686sqm and feature large learning spaces, a beautiful outdoor area, ample onsite parking and more. Like other Edge Early Learning centres, Bilinga will provide nutritious meals, nappies, wipes and sunscreen.
With capacity for 122 children, Edge will employ around 30 friendly, caring and highly-qualified early childhood educators to prepare children for school with a program that is educational, engaging and fun.
Edge Early Learning now have 11 centres across south east Queensland, including their six in Brisbane – South Brisbane, Milton, Tarragindi, Strathpine and dual sites in West End – and three centres on the Sunshine Coast – one in Aroona and two locations in Peregian.
Limited vacancies are currently available at Edge Early Learning Bilinga, with other centres due to open in Kelvin Grove, Bellbird Park, North Harbour and Nundah in 2020.
