Classic fairy tale Cinderella hits the big screen this week, with the live action feature starring Lily James, Cate Blanchett, Helena Bonham Carter and Richard Madden. And young romantics – and their mums – can get a special piece of the action at Little Chicks at the Flicks.

CINDERELLA_PAYOFF_AUSTRALIA.jpg_cmyk (1)Cinderella is a lavish production inspired by the classic fairy tale. The film brings to life the timeless images from Disney’s 1950 animated masterpiece as fully-realised characters in a visually dazzling spectacle for a whole new generation. Cate Blanchett plays the wickedly fierce Lady Tremaine, with Helena Bonham Carter adding a sense of fun as the Fairy Godmother.

With the central theme, “have courage, and be kind”, Cinderella will appeal to lovers of the classic love story and encourage young viewers to be brave hearts.

Even better? Disney’s Frozen Fever screens exclusively with every session of Cinderella. If you still can’t “Let it Go”, you’ll love this short where Elsa and Kristoff are determined to give Anna her best birthday celebration ever, but Elsa’s icy powers may put more than just the party at risk.

Head to the movies this Sunday for your little taste of “happy ever after”.
