Celebrate the beauty in your life this Mother’s Day with a picnic under the stars and a magical outdoor screening of the beloved fairytale, Beauty and the Beast*, at Roma Street Parkland.

Arrive early in your finest princess or beastly outfits to craft a beautiful floral gift for mum, enjoy free live music, or take a sunset stroll in the gardens.

When you’ve worked up an appetite, the food trucks will proudly present their dinner options to you.

Festivities begin at 4pm, with live music at the Amphitheatre, food vendors serving drinks, snacks and dinner, as well as craft activities in the Children’s Garden. After sundown at 6pm, Beauty and the Beast starring Emma Watson will commence on the Amphitheatre big screen.

Plan your trip by pre-booking your parking online at the Roma Street Transit Centre, or travel by bus or train to Roma Street stations. Limited parking is available on Parkland Boulevard or the public carpark accessed via College Close.
