What inspired you to create the Get Commando Fit Cookbook?

Many people ask me the question, ‘What do you eat and what are your tips and hints?’ Since we created the online program GetCommandoFit, we felt this cook book would give people a greater insight into how we do things and provide them with healthy delicious meals for the entire family.


What are the top three excuses you hear from mums as to why they can’t eat consistently healthy food?

Number one is ‘I don’t have time’, second is ‘It’s too expensive’ and third would be ‘The kids refuse to eat healthy food’.


And what are the three best ways to counter these excuses?

To address these excuses we need to understand what people want to achieve.  They also need to believe in what they are doing and their desire to see it through needs to be strong enough that they can deal with the excuses and any other obstacles that may appear.


What is your go-to meal after a crazy-busy day of work, training and family?

My go-to meal is the chicken soup out of the Get Commando Fit Cookbook.  It’s easy to prepare and absolutely satisfying.


If you could only have three utensils/implements in your kitchen, what would they be?

My go-to items would be a large chef’s knife; an absolute must.  A stainless bowl for prep and salads etc and a large fry pan for cooking up a storm.
