It’s spooky season, but one question needs to be answered: will you be celebrating at home, or hitting the town?

If you haven’t yet decided, fear not. We’ve listed the top three options for each, so that all you need to worry about is which costume you’ll be wearing!

OUT AND ABOUT

Little Paccas
Pacific Fair is calling all little monsters, goblins and ghouls to jump on a broomstick and join them in your spookiest Halloween costume for a FREE Halloween Trick or Treat. On Thursday October 29, every half-hour from 10am until 5pm, trick or treaters can hunt for pumpkins hidden in stores pin-pointed on the map (given to you at the Concierge Desk on the Ground Floor), writing down the secret codes in their booklet as they go – and collecting a lolly, too! Once you have completed your booklet, head back to the Concierge Desk for a free Halloween surprise!

Please note: This event is exclusive to Little Paccas members, who will be emailed a link on Tuesday 20 October to book a spot. Bookings are essential. Parents are only required to book a ticket for children. Children must always be accompanied by parents/guardians. Not a Little Paccas member yet? Little Paccas is a FREE kids club for preschool aged kids and parents offering you 2 FREE kids events each month.

HALLOWEEN AT HOME

Pumpkin spotting
Remember the ‘bear hunt’ that defined the early weeks of COVID lockdown? Well, a clever parent has come up with the perfect Halloween alternative – a pumpkin trail! Simply carve a pumpkin to put on your doorstep or hang a pumpkin drawing in your window, and encourage your neighbours to do the same. When passing kids spot your pumpkin, their parents will pop a treat into their bucket! It’s the ultimate COVID-safe solution.

Host a halloween party
Instead of hitting the town in search of Halloween fun, why not bring the party to you? Halloween falls on a Saturday this year, meaning it’s the perfect occasion to throw the ultimate COVID-safe ‘Monster Bash’ – and we’ve got just the guide to show you how. All you’ll need to do is sort out your costume!

Creepy crafts
Nothing says spooky like a colony of creepy bats, and this craft idea by Tracy from RAW Art is one of the best ways to make your own! It’s totally kid-friendly, so you can spend your Halloween cutting, colouring and crafting with your little ones. When they’re all finished, hang them proudly in your windows for passing Trick or Treaters to see!
