Are you impressed by the snaps that your kids and teens are taking? Think they have what it takes to have their art on the walls of a major art gallery?
Entries are now open for HOTA’s new photography award – Young Crop – coinciding with the 20th anniversary of the nationally acclaimed Josephine Ulrick and Win Schubert Photography Award 2022, which returns after a 4-year hiatus.
Young Crop presents the next crop of Australian contemporary photographers – entry is free to all 5-17-year-olds across the country.
There are four categories – 5-7 years, 8-11 years, 12-14 years and 15-17 years. The competition is open theme – so the sky is the limit for our young artists.
An exhibition of the finalists’ photographs will be printed and presented at HOTA Gallery between 17 Sept-8 Jan 2023. With a winner in each category and age category commendations, the young photographers will share in a prize pool valued at $2,000.
Entries are open now until Mon 25 July, 2022.
Visit HOTA’s website to enter, and for all the competition and exhibition details.
