It may be famed for its crystal-clear waters and laid-back, beachy lifestyle, but Sanctuary Cove will be transformed into a wintery wonderland this December.

Kicking off on Monday, December 11, the Marine Village of Sanctuary Cove will come alive with festivities and merriment. For five days, prepare to be wowed by the free family-friendly entertainment, shopping, candlelit dinners, carols and so much more.

It starts off with the Christmas Carnival, which will run every day from 10am to 2pm. With train rides, a circus workshop and roving entertainers, face painting, an animal farm and pony rides and a jumping castle, there is no shortage of fun (and did we mention free?) activities for the whole family.

Plus, it wouldn’t be a Christmas celebration without a visit to see Santa. On Monday to Friday, between 11am and 1pm, families and their furry friends can meet Santa Claus himself and capture a special festive memory – plus, it’s a good chance to drop some hints about what you’d like to find in your stocking come Christmas morning.

On Wednesday night, things quieten down with the romantic candlelit dinners put on by some of Sanctuary Cove’s most beloved restaurants. Indulge in decadent Christmas-inspired feasts at dining destinations like Ioesco, Black Angus and Thai House, plus so many more. Bookings are essential for this festive spread, so get in quick.

Stick around on Thursday evening to see the Village Green fill with Christmas cheer during Carols on the Green, which boasts a program of breath-taking entertainment all night long.

Also on Thursday is the Village Night Markets, offering stalls upon stalls of boutique retailers along the boardwalk. With unique wares and gorgeous garments, there will no doubt be something for the whole family. Christmas shopping – sorted.

Be sure to mark Sanctuary Cove’s festivities in your calendar – Christmas is coming early this year!
