Have you heard of the Choose Kind Classroom Challenge? It encourages students to create and spread more kindness in the world while being kind to their peers and teachers. It is linked with the upcoming movie WONDER, in cinemas November 30.
WONDER is an uplifting and inspirational story that has been praised for its important messages of kindness and acceptance. The movie is an adaption of RJ Palacio’s novel, which is in the Australian curriculum.
To take part, students simply register at the website and perform random acts of kindness. One kind act = one token. The goal is to fill a vessel with these kindness tokens. Participating schools will have the chance to win an advanced screening of WONDER for their school/classroom. Registrations for the Choose Kind Classroom Challenge are underway and the competition closes November 16 so act fast!
