Little Paccas are bringing Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary to Pacific Fair!

On Thursday February 6, Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary’s Wildlife on Wheels will bring a range of stunning Australian native wildlife – including birds, snakes, lizards, mini beasts, eggs, nests and microscopes – for a totally wild interactive experience.

There will also be special appearances from Aussie icons Blinky Bill and Skippy the Kangaroo!

Touch and explore the exhibitions and animals during the 20-minute experience, which runs consecutively from 9am until 2pm in the Centre Court, outside Myer.

Just bring along a donation to the Currumbin Wildlife Hospital Foundation, to continue supporting their efforts for the bushfire crisis.

On average, it costs $7000 to treat, rehabilitate and release a single koala. In 2008, the Currumbin Wildlife Hospital treated 27 koalas; in 2019, they treated 600. Now, as a result of the horrible bushfires burning throughout Australia, that number is expected to be in the thousands – and that doesn’t even include the numerous other wildlife who need their help.

For the past five years Pacific Fair has been a proud long-term charity partner of the Currumbin Wildlife Hospital Foundation and, as part of their ongoing partnership, Pacific Fair has donated $25,000 to the Foundation to provide vital services for any injured wildlife.
