Grab your reusable shopping bags, skateboard and picnic blanket – there’s a market at Murwillumbah, and it’s sure to be a good one!
The Makers and Finders Market is on this Saturday, October 20, and promises to deliver a quirky mix of locally grown produce and handmade, collectable and upcycled products across acres of lush grassy fields.
There will even be live music and street food on offer and, when you’ve had your fill at the markets, there is also a selection of cafes, restaurants and boutiques to check out around town.
Make a day of it and enjoy the countryside around Murwillumbah, taking some time after the markets wrap up at 2pm to explore the rolling green hills and gently flowing rivers, punctuated with pockets of sugar cane, banana plantations, hobby farms and small village communities. It’s a country dream.
The Makers and Finders Market kicks off at 9am, so be sure to get there bright and early. Head to www.makersandfindersmarket.com for more info.
And, if you’re looking for more market fun this weekend, check out our market listing! We top it up with the best markets in and around town every single week.
