Hankering to find somewhere new to take your kids these holidays, or the perfect spot for your Easter or Mother’s Day get together? These play places might just be what you’ve been searching for.
Kalinga Park, Wooloowin
While the original playground sadly burned down years and years ago, but – like a phoenix from the ashes – the new playground that took its place is certainly worth visiting. Not only is Kalinga Park a great place for nature play, with the babbling Kedron Brook that flows through the park a nice shallow spot for a splash, the park itself features an awesome bike track, sandpit, fun playground equipment like climbing poles, forts, nets and ladders, and even a fully-fenced dog area.
