Calling all art and design lovers! The much-anticipated Queensland Art Gallery and Gallery of Modern Art Winter Design Market is back for another year, bringing with it a host of stallholders selling everything (literally) under the sun.
From jewellery to ceramics, as well as textiles, homewares and fashion, the QAGoMA Winter Design Markets are a favourite for anyone looking to add something a little bit unique to their home or wardrobe. With some 50 stalls to explore, you’ll happily stroll around the markets – which make the most of the sunshine in South Brisbane’s Stanley Place – from when they open at 9am until they finish up at 4pm.
Remember to bring cash, as many stallholders may not have EFTPOS – you’d hate to walk away from that once-in-a-lifetime find. And, if you’re still hungry for more, why not duck into GoMA’s own store? They offer a curated collection of books and art that almost rivals the gallery itself.
Whether you’re replenishing the present supply or just love appreciating the talented artisans that call Brisbane ‘home’, make sure to stop by the QAGoMA Winter Design Market this Saturday, June 8.
