Sugar Republic, the sweetest interactive experience in town, has arrived in Brisbane after a sell-out Melbourne season.

Having opened its doors on September 23, Sugar Republic already has Brisbane on a sugar-high with its incredible, #instagrammable pop-up museum dedicated to the celebration of desserts, candy and all things sweet!

With a series of twelve amazing sensory rooms, adults are invited to relive their childhoods as they climb a candy rainbow, splash about in a giant pink bubblegum ball pit and spin the wheel o’treats. Kids will also delight in the fairy floss room – complete with a swing! – and the giant gum ball machine that’s big enough to dance in, before posing for a sweet selfie in the pink tearoom.

Other attractions include a huge sugar-themed neon installation, a ‘press for confetti’ button and loads of sweet art by up-and-coming artists.

Ever wanted to jump out of a birthday cake, cross a sherbet-filled rainbow bridge or play in a traditional ‘lolly shoppe’? Sugar Republic is the place where your sweetest dreams come true.

Along with snapping the sweetest Instagram snaps, you can enjoy edible treats as you explore the design-led space, specially created by local food artisans and iconic brands – we’re talking Taubmans Paint, Arnott’s, Wizz Fizz, Hubba Bubba, The Original Cone Co., Sweetie Darling Co., Electric Confetti and Sunjellies.

You can even host a sugar-fuelled party with the option to book Sugar Republic’s Private Party VIP event space.

Located in Valley Metro in Brunswick Street, Fortitude Valley, Sugar Republic is only running for a limited time, making it this spring’s ‘must see’ exhibition for anyone craving a sugar high.
