The Goodnight Co have announced their new sleep retreat, which will run from June 7 through to June 9 at none other than Brisbane’s iconic Calile Hotel.

The Goodnight Co was founded by Danielle Knight and Shea Morrison, who decided to leave their busy corporate lives in the city after learning about the benefits of sleeping on silk. This led them to source the perfect luxurious silk pillowcases, masks and now, host sleep retreats!

This will be the second sleep retreat from sleep experts at The Goodnight Co – after the success of their first one in Bowral, which was focused on escaping from busy city life, this sleep retreat will be more tailored to corporate and high-frequency travellers, teaching them tactics to get better sleep while travelling.

Recent statistics have shown that lack of sleep is a primary concern for travellers, with four in five (80%) stating they have trouble sleeping when travelling away from home.

Knowing this, the Goodnight Co have brought together a team of experts to help travellers combat a restless night, teaching their attendees how to rest and reset and set themselves up for a good night’s sleep no matter where they are.

It’s fitting that the retreat will be set in the calming, urban oasis that is Brisbane’s Calile Hotel, as wellness is key at the newly launched accommodation. It really is the ideal place to restore, replenish and reinvigorate whilst enjoying some much-needed downtime.

From exclusive treatments at the Kailo Spa to simply just relaxing at the poolside cabanas, this intimate sleep retreat will hone in on a combination of wellness and sleep education, designed to help attendees overcome issues like jet lag, travelling for work, hotel rooms, late nights and busy schedules.

Danielle Knight & Shea Morrison: The Goodnight Co was co-founded by best friends Danielle Knight and Shea Morrison. Whilst Danielle’s focus strongly lies in managing partnerships, logistics and daily operations in order to help change the way we sleep. Shea has been researching and studying the science of sleep for the past 5 years, and is currently training to become a mindfulness teacher as well whilst practicing meditation.

Jen Cox, Clinical Naturopath: Jen is a qualified Naturopath and Western Herbalist with a passion for food as medicine who has spent close to a decade parked firmly under the wellness umbrella.

Ben & Laura, Breathing Instructors: Dr Laura and Ben are the founders of Kula Health, a wellness centre that shows driven business professionals how to look after their health the same way they look after their family and work.

Katie Delimon, Yoga & Meditation Instructor: Katie believes our bodies and minds are desperately seeking ways in which to slow down. Her hope is to share a realistic approach to a balances life, through holistic yoga, meditation and mindfulness experiences.

Danique Hanson, Yoga Instructor: Danique began practicing yoga to maintain her love of strong, flexible body movement, but the more she embraced the path of yoga, the more she experienced the amazing benefits to the mind, body and spirit.
