FREE HALLOWEEN TRICK OR TREAT
Calling all little monsters, goblins and ghouls! Jump on a broomstick, dress in your spookiest Halloween costume and join Pacific Fair’s FREE Halloween Trick or Treat thanks to Little Paccas Kids Club. This Thursday 28 October from 10am to 5pm with 30 minute session (bookings are essential)
SÉANCE at HOTA
The first installation of the highly acclaimed multi-sensory series DARKFIELD invites Queenslanders to be engulfed in complete darkness and have their grasp on reality challenged when it opens at HOTA, Home of the Arts on Halloween weekend. Taking place inside a 40ft shipping container in pitch darkness, each audience member will wear a set of noise cancelling headphones. Deprived of their vision, the intense 360 degree audio creates a soundscape that will have them questioning their own sense of reality.
Sea World Spooky Nights (SOLD OUT)
All October long, Sea World will take visitors on the most spine-tingling tour of the beloved family theme park. This is Sea World like you’ve never seen it before. With six new precincts (each one more terrifying than the last) and a spook-tacular line up of entertainment, Sea World Spooky Nights promises to leave you screaming – and not just from the death-defying rides!
Happy Halloween at Dreamworld
With spook-tacular entertainment, frightfully fun food, rides at night, trick-or-treating and more, Dreamworld’s Happy Halloween is the perfect way to celebrate the spooky season. From the costume contest – which will judge the creepiest and most boo-tiful costumes – to the frightful food delights, and not to mention the Dreamworld attractions to know and love made scarier by the dark of night, it’s sure to be an unforgettable family adventure. Don’t forget to collect your candy before the night is done!
The Haunted Passage
This year Cavill Lane Surfers Paradise will be another Gold Coast evil residency to get your Halloween thrills on with the debut Haunted Halloween weekend nights of The Haunted Passage. This atmospheric showcase is designed to transport you into a haunted passage influenced by horror films and haunted attractions, for an experience of an immersive event. These Haunted Halloween nights will feature a haunted maze, escape room, little shops of horror, scare performers, street food, laneway bar, and so much more… so make a night out of it!
Halloween Party at the Coolangatta Hotel
The spooky season has arrived – are you ready for a seriously spook-tacular time at the Cooly Hotel? On Saturday 30 October, indulge in devilishly BOOzey Mr Consistent cocktails on offer at the pop up cocktail bar. Plus there will be plenty of live entertainment from Rob Fitchett from 5pm and Agent 77 Band from 9.30pm. Last but not least, be sure to pull out your scariest looks because there will be prizes for the best Halloween themed costume!
Halloween at Easy Street
As the only authentic American diner on the Gold Coast, we can’t think of a better place to spend your Halloween this year! Better yet, they’re running a week-long Halloweek event from October 25 to October 31. The diner will be fully decorated, plus Halloween night our staff will be transformed into Zombies to celebrate the spookiest night of the year! Sunday night we’ll be offering Free Fries or Onion Rings for anyone who dines in costume. Bookings are essential.
Fearaphobia – Scream Park (recommended for 15+)
Taking over the abandoned Night Quarter site next to Westfield Helensvale, Fearaphobia, Australia’s only Scream Park, promises to scare you out of your mind and make nightmares come through every night from October 22 to 31. Australia’s number one scare attraction, never been seen before in QLD, features terror-filled and blood-curdling scare experiences packed with scares and surprises, plus two thrilling Escape Rooms. Fearaphobia will transport you and your friends into a dark twisting maze with rooms populated with creatures from your worst nightmares. Your only goal will be to elude the predators who stalk you through the darkness and to be a survivor, not a victim.
FestEVIL at the Fangtuary
From October 29 – 31, guests of all ages are invited to dress up in their Halloween scariest for a frightfully good time. Ride the Ghost Train, meet creepy wandering wildlife up close and sink your fangs into delicious treats. Little monsters aged 3-13 will love their haunted house and trick or treating, as well as terror-ific inflatable fun. Even zombies will be doing the Monster Mash, with a disco and street performers to get the party started.
