STEMPUNK // 3D PRINTED GIFTS WORKSHOP

Perfect for boys and girls in years 3 to 9, this fun and interactive STEM class will teach students learn about 3D Design and 3D Printing. They will learn how 3D Printers work and how to transform their designs into 3D printable objects, and design and 3D print their own awesome gifts for Christmas.

STEMPUNK // DRONE CODING WORKSHOP

Suitable for boys and girls in years 2 to 6, this immersive STEM class will teach students how drones can be programmed to solve autonomous tasks, while also exploring the physics of multi-rotor flight. Learn how drones operate and the system components that make up a drone, then apply the skills of coding and drone flight to complete a drone Search and Rescue mission.

STEMPUNK // ROBOTICS AND CODING WORKSHOP

Boys and girls in years 2 to 6 will love this fun and interactive STEM class. Students will explore coding and robotics, creating a program for a robot to solve a real-world problem. Learn about the electro-mechanical parts of a robot and how robots work, then apply the skills of Robotics and Coding to program a robot to complete a mission.

Calling all boys and girls in years 3 to 7! This immersive and fun STEM class will have students designing, making and driving electric vehicles. They will learn about the system components of an electric vehicle and the impact this technology will have on society through hands-on activities, fostering a culture of teamwork and collaboration in the process.

FLYING ARTS WORKSHOP // IPAD ART

Boys and girls in years 3 to 7 will take photos and learn how to turn them into paintings with iPads! Then, in the afternoon, students will make Stop Frame Animations with iPads. FLYING ARTS WORKSHOP // SILVERSMITH AND JEWELLERY

Boys and girls in years 3 to 7 can discover the beauty found inside e-waste by taking discarded electronic equipment apart using basic hand tools. Select, find and swap the parts you wish to use and applying a variety of craft techniques to create stunning jewellery or small sculptures! It’s a great opportunity to make gifts for Christmas. FLYING ARTS WORKSHOP // MASK MAKING AND SHADOW PLAY

Calling all boys and girls in years 3 to 7! Create a BIGHEAD mask using recycled cardboard and paints – first, decide on your spirit animal or creature, then use a projector to enlarge and draw the profile on cardboard. The characteristics of the masks will be the inspiration of short interactions and (shadow) plays throughout the afternoon, so it’s sure to be a magical workshop.
