Captivating the hearts of young children worldwide The Gruffalo’s Child stage show comes to Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC) these school holidays from 29 September to 3 October 2015 to delight crowds with their adventure into the deep dark wood.

Adapted from the children’s classic picture book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler, the bestselling sequel to The Gruffalo, this show brings together physical theatre, music and puppetry to delight children aged three and above.

One wild and windy night the Gruffalo’s Child, despite her father’s warning, sets off into the Deep Dark Wood to find the Big Bad Mouse, the only thing her father is afraid of.

During her journey, she encounters the snake, owl and fox, each of whom she first suspects to be the “Big Bad Mouse”.  But the Big Bad Mouse doesn’t really exist… does he?

With a “brain over brawn” theme, the characters rhyme, sing songs and share laughs and scary fun along the way. Live on stage at QPAC with tickets on sale now via www.qpac.com.au or call 136 246.
