GOLD COAST SUPERHERO WEEKEND
Friday March 13 thru to Sunday March 15 // Gold Coast Convention & Exhibition Centre, Broadbeach
The three-day pop-culture spectacular will span from the legendary Supanova Comic Con and Gaming Expo at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre, to the intergalactic Star Wars takeover at Victoria Park, where there will be Australia’s largest Superhero Parade.
ASMR LIVE! WITH WHISPERSRED
Thursday March 12, at 6pm & 7:30pm // HOTA, Surfers Paradise
In an Australian first, this one-hour live interactive experience with one of the world’s best-known ASMRtists, Emma Smith – known as WhispersRed – will delight your ears with the sounds of whispers, pokes, crunches, strokes and squeezes to relax and evoke a tingling, deeply calming ASMR sensation in the comfort of your own bean bag.
Saturday March 14, from 9am – 6pm // Pines Lane, Elanora
Bowzilla is the biggest skateboard festival this year in Australia and is the ASF National Park Skating Championships. This year’s festival is celebrating all the great talents of the skateboarding community with art, music, learning to ride clinics, food, parties and of course the competition!
BRISBRICKS LEGO FAN EXPERIENCE
Saturday March 14 & Sunday March 15 // The Oasis Shopping Centre, Broadbeach
The Oasis Shopping Centre will feature a huge Lego fan experience across the entire first floor of the shopping centre from 10am-5pm on the Saturday and 11am-4pm on the Sunday, featuring displays from Jurassic Park, Diagon Alley, Arkham Asylum, Harry Potter and even a life-size Pikachu! Watch the passionate Lego fans from BrisBricks transform over 500,000 pieces of Lego into custom displays or get involved at the BrisBricks building area where kids can join in the fun!

Storyfest is the writer’s festival on the Gold Coast that delivers a series of literary experiences along with workshops, masterclasses and featured authors throughout the year. Storyfest nurtures emerging writers and provides opportunities for readers and writers alike.
Sunday March 15, from 6.30am – 8.30am // Marine Parade, Coolangatta
National fundraiser, Melanoma March is back this year and will hit the streets of the Gold Coast as part of the annual campaign to raise funds and awareness for a cure for melanoma. This is a great way to get your family out and moving on the weekend and it’s for a fantastic cause! You can enjoy a coffee and breakfast at The Strand afterwards.
POP & PLAY
Sunday March 15, from 12.30pm – 5.30pm // HOTA, Surfers Paradise
Pop & Play is a supa-charged day of esports and Asia pop culture. It’s a celebration of gaming, music, film and more and is the first of its kind on the Gold Coast. You’re invited to battle elite esport gamers Gaku Space, Tequila and QO in spectacular style across select games such as Overwatch and Dota, or can take on friends on one of the freeplay stations including Nintendo favourites Super Smash Bros or Mario Kart.
TWISTED TALES & PLANETS FOR SALE
Sunday March 15, from 1pm – 5.30pm // Brunswick Picture House, Brunswick Heads
The Brunswick Youth Theatre is putting on two fantastic original plays – Twisted Tales, which is a musical romp devised by the wonderfully imaginative young performers aged from five to 10 years old and Planets for Sale, which explores what might happen when Alien Real Estate Agents arrive on earth to snap up this run down property.
CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY – THE NEW MUSICAL
Wednesday March 18 thru to Sunday April 19 // QPAC, South Bank
Roald Dahl’s delicious tale, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, is coming to Brisbane! Everyone’s favourite songs from the original will be featured, such as “Pure Imagination”, “The Candy Man” and “I’ve Got a Golden Ticket”. Get ready for the Oompa-Loompas, incredible inventions, costumes and sets and more, more, more at this everlasting showstopper!
MOONLIGHT CINEMA // HARRY POTTER AND THE PRISONER OF AZKABAN
Thursday March 19, from 7.15pm – 10pm // Roma Street Parkland, Brisbane City
Harry Potter and his wizard friends are taking over the Moonlight Cinema screen in The Prisoner of Azkaban, where Harry learns that Sirius Black has escaped from the prison of Azkaban and is after him.

Now thru to Saturday April 5 // Westfield Shopping Centre, Helensvale
The risqué adults-only circus show, INFAMOUS, is back for another round of cheeky fun on the Gold Coast for its third blockbuster season. The show left audiences in awe with its previous season in 2018 and has since crossed the country delivering a cocktail of circus cabaret and uncensored burlesque. There will be naughty clowns, dazzling dancers, topless acrobats and more!
