GOLD COAST KIDS COLOR FUN FESTIVAL
Saturday March 7, from 11am – 3pm // Broadwater Parklands, Southport
Put on your whitest shirt and come celebrate Holi – also known as the Festival of Colours! Be prepared to get covered in non-toxic colour powder to the sounds of the DJ blasting their beats from the stage as well as the music from dance performances. There will also be an obstacle course, food trucks and stalls to browse. All proceeds will go to the communities affected by the bushfires.
OUT LOUD FESTIVAL
Friday March 6 thru to Sunday March 15 // HOTA, Surfers Paradise
The Out Loud Festival is a celebration of diversity in our ever-changing world! You will be able to dance, sing and will laugh your heart out at this festival of big ideas and fun! There is a range of different events to attend which can be viewed on their website.
VOCALESCENCE // AUSTRALIAN HEROES
Saturday March 7, from 12pm – 4pm // Helensvale Community Centre, Helensvale
This multicultural event is focusing on Australian Heroes throughout history, with a special focus on the hero, volunteer firefighters. There will be a variety of entertainment including dances, crafting and a bouncy castle for the kids as well as live music and performances across the day. There will be a range of Aussie food and snacks to indulge in – including a snag off the barbie! Half of the proceeds will go to the Coomera Valley Rural Fire Brigade.
THE JUNGLE COLLECTIVE // HUGE INDOOR PLANT SALE
Saturday March 7 & Sunday March 8 // 10/15 John Duncan Court, Varsity Lakes
The next indoor plant sale by The Jungle Collective will have a strong focus on air purifying plants, with as many rare plants as they can find – plus all your indoor plant favourites too! These events run on timeslots, so you will need to register online for your free ticket. You’ll get to enjoy thousands of indoor plants in one big warehouse, receive style inspiration on how to incorporate your plants into your home and you can chat to the on-site horticulturist about your specific needs, and you can enjoy the jungle tunes while you shop!

Artist Rachael Haynes believes in the idea of doing small acts of resistance in order to create big change. Families and children (ages 5+) are invited to join Rachael and express their hopes and visions for a better future by creating their own mini protest banners made out of felt.
SKYE’S SUPER CLINIC // THE GOLD COAST SUNS
Tuesday March 10, from 4.30pm – 6.30pm // Metricon Stadium, Carrara
For all the AFL fans! Come down to Metricon Stadium and enjoy a clinic run by the SUNS AFLW Players! Learn to Kick, Mark and Tackle like a SUNS AFLW player. Signing session and photo opportunities are available from 6pm.
LITTLE ARTLAB // ALMIGHTY DRAGON KITES
Wednesday March 11, from 10am & 1pm // HOTA, Surfers Paradise
Children aged 1-5 are invited to participate in this workshop with the artist in residence, Jason Phu, where they can create dragon kites made out of recycled material to “summon the power of the almighty dragons to combat climate change”. Children will also learn about the seasons as they create.

Join Woody and the gang and watch their road trip adventures under the stars! Gather your family and friends, pack a picnic or indulge in the delicious food options available and enjoy interactive kids activities by Sparky Do Dah from 4pm.
NINJA WARRIOR TRAINING

Calling all Ninja Warriors! This training program is designed to have you moving like a Ninja and will use mostly body strength in fun activities to test your Ninja skills and challenge your strength. This session will also improve your agility, grip strength and upper body strength. Suitable for children aged 8 – 14 years old.

Roald Dahl’s hideous Mr and Mrs Twit are up to mischief again as they focus their attention on capturing and training a family of monkeys for a circus act! Find out if they succeed in their live show at the Brisbane Arts Theatre.
‘SPIDERS’ – THE EXHIBITION

The risqué adults-only circus show, INFAMOUS, is back for another round of cheeky fun on the Gold Coast for its third blockbuster season. The show left audiences in awe with its previous season in 2018 and has since crossed the country delivering a cocktail of circus cabaret and uncensored burlesque. There will be naughty clowns, dazzling dancers, topless acrobats and more!
