The Gold Coast is packed full of incredible playgrounds – some cater perfectly for the younger kids, and others are able to entice the older kids out from behind their screens.

But it’s the goldilocks parks (not too small, and not too big, but just right) that are really winning families over. These are designed so well that no matter the age, everyone will have a fun time! Here are 3 of the best Gold Coast parks for kids of all ages to enjoy together.

Country Paradise Parklands, Nerang
Country Paradise Parklands has just undergone a $2.8m redevelopment, and there is now an amazing adventure playground and picnic area to enjoy! Everyone will love the 11.5m tall windmill with a mega slide, which is accessed via a water-tank tunnel and swing bridge, plus there are a bunch more smaller play structures to explore too. Wrapping around the entire playground space is a nature play creek bed with water play elements including pumps, streams taps and showers.

Frascott Park, Varsity Lakes
Frascott Park delivers bang for your buck! With not one, but two playgrounds on site, a dog park, open fields and a pathway perfect for biking, there is a lot to do here. Start off with the amazing safari themed playground – take a ride in the jeep, spot the elephant and slide down the mega slide. Then, follow the path until you find the original Frascott Park, a little quieter, a little more shady and perfect heights for toddlers. Here you can have a spin on the merry go round, swing on the swings and climb all the bridges.

Bim’bimba Park, Pimpama
Set up as a community space, Bim’bimba Park encompasses a large outdoor amphitheatre, toddler play space, playground, teen hangout and basketball court – all connected by a series of entwining paths perfect for bike or scooter riding. Some of the highlights here include the giant birdsnest-style tower with mega slide, musical instruments, animal sculptures and dedicated toddler play space.
