As you walk, run, skip or dance through the course you’ll go head to head with different COLOR ZONES and be blitzed by colour. PALM BEACH STATE SCHOOL FETE

Expect plenty to see and do at this year’s fete, from raffles and music to face painting, crafts and kids’ activities. With rides like the Tea Cups and Super Slide, to the Bat Tower and Petting Zoo there is something for everyone and every age. Parents can find a bargain at the pre-loved clothing rack sale, and browse through stalls from talented community members while enjoying some home-made treats. There will also be a finger licking BBQ to delicious pizza and sticky fairy floss, and refreshing beverages from Balter Brewery.
BRISBANE BURGER FEST

Brisbane’s biggest celebration of burgers is BACK for the third annual Brisbane Burger Fest! The Triffid will be shutting down Stratton Street and filling it with Brisbane’s best burger joints, live entertainment and craft beers, with a line-up featuring the best of Brisbane’s burger scene on-site for your tasting pleasure. Chow down on every burger from Ben’s Burgers to Ze Pickle and soak up the good vibes at the same time. Tickets are $5, and kids under 12 get in free before 4pm.
INDIA DAY FAIR

Celebrate India’s independence day at the India Day Fair at Roma Street Parklands! A celebration of the Indian culture in all its many forms, the fair showcases art, food, music and Bollywood and classical dances. The Show Stopper is coming all the way from India and the evening ends with the grand finale fireworks! This family-friendly event is free to the community and no alcohol is allowed.

All little monsters are invited to hit the wildlife sanctuary to help wish The Gruffalo a Happy Birthday, which will include an appearance by The Gruffalo, face painting, spot prizes, kids craft and activity zone as well as book readings by Gold Coast City Libraries.

Explore 4 levels of the Museum, including hands-on activities, torchlight tours, and pop-up shows. Have tucker and then wind down with a movie before its lights out. On Sunday morning recharge with breakfast before leaping into outer space in the exhibition NASA – A Human Adventure. Goodnight at the Museum is for children 5 -12 years, and children must be accompanied by an adult. Adults are not permitted without a child.
