Hit the mat
Bodyweight exercises are great, but yoga and Pilates are really the perfect home workouts. All you need is a mat, some floor space and some free time to get zen – or, feel the burn! There are plenty of workouts on YouTube, or you can sign up to learn from the experts at places like Pilates & Co. and KX Pilates.
Or HIIT the virtual gym
Your beloved F45, BodyFit or Fitstop may have closed, but did you know they’re offering online versions of your favourite workouts? Even if you aren’t with one of the aforementioned studios, chances are, your local has set up online video workouts, too! Check out their social media to see if they’ve made an announcement, or consider (temporarily) signing up somewhere that has gone remote.

Over 100,000 have joined former Bachelor Sam Wood’s free live home workouts over the past seven days, and his online offering shows no sign of stopping – he’s even got kid-friendly workouts on Tuesdays and Thursdays!
Get moving with the kids and schedule that daily workout in your living room or garden. Meet two Fitness coaches that have a magic way with the kids:
- PE Joe from the UK (or you may know him as the Body Coach). He’s high energy with short routines that the kids can follow including a daily one during the covid-19 isolation. Plus you’ll find loads more in the archives, with short bursts of movements right here.
- For the preschoolers Coach Josh turns it on, taking screen time into active time! We’re loving that his sessions are themed around animals and fave nursery rhymes to keep the kids entertained and active.
