Don’t miss Australia’s First Lady of Comedy, Julia Morris – now a household name thanks to her multifaceted career as an award winning standup, actor, TV presenter, two-time reality show winner and author – in her triumphant return to the live stage in 2023.


Gold Coast Pride Festival 2023 // Saturday June 3 from 12pm to 10pm, Macintosh Island Park

The Gold Coast will burst into life in June with drag queens, DJs, street food, market stalls and a doggy pageant for the third Gold Coast Pride Festival. Macintosh Island will be transformed into a sea of colour with the 3rd annual Gold Coast Pride Festival, hosted by local non-profit organisation Gold Coast Rainbow Communities.


SeaFire 2023 // Saturday June 3 from 6pm to 9pm, Esplanade, Surfers Paradise

SeaFire, the Gold Coast’s very own international fireworks competition, is back with a bang. World-renowned pyrotechnic teams will compete at 7pm and 8pm, before Australia’s leading pyrotechnic team, Skylighter, closes the night with a breath-taking fireworks finale at 8:50pm. Best of all, it’s free!


Yoga Day Festival Gold Coast // Sunday June 4 from 9am to 3pm, Memorial Park, Burleigh Heads

An iconic festival commemorating the United Nations International Day of Yoga, enjoy an incredible day of community celebrations for all things yoga. Enjoy yoga and meditation classes, a boho tent village, a Mindful Kids space and delicious vegan eats.


Oceania Rugby Women’s Championship // From Friday May 26 to Sunday June 4, Bond University

Oceania Rugby Women’s Championship is the region’s pinnacle premier women’s rugby competition. The 2023 event holds greater importance than ever before, as teams are contending for qualification in the brand-new World Rugby WXV global women’s XVs competition in Europe in October this year.

The Scenic Rim Eat Local program is officially live, and it’s packed with creativity, flavour and authenticity.Boasting 139 food events (the largest offering in the event’s 12-year history), the program will run throughout the entire month of June. Runners have the option of 25 km, 35 km, 65 km or 105 km distances. Starting at The Overflow Estate 1895 winery, the course runs across long ridgelines, single track, dirt road and dense forest, plus challenging mountain climbs which provide panoramic views of Mt Tamborine and Brisbane City.
