It may not ever get cold enough to really snow here in South East Queensland, but that doesn’t mean we need to miss out on the fun of some good old fashioned ice skating.

Here are the top places to give it a twirl this winter.

The Winter Village at Northshore Hamilton
First-time skater or seasoned pro, anyone and everyone can grab a skate session pass and hit the ice-rink at Winter Village for some family fun. From now until August 29, you can book a 45-minute session, seven days a week – your pass includes rental skates and a helmet, plus there are extra socks, protection packs and skating aids available to purchase ahead of time or on the day.
